Double Winged Liner & Pink Cut Crease

I'm feeling unusually productive this month, compared to the last few months i seem to be posting a lot more frequent! I've stuck to quite mellow looks recently so thought i would create something more exciting. I new i wanted to use pink but i couldn't for the life of me decide what other colours to go with. In the end i went with pinks sister, purple. If the bright colours weren't enough, i then went a step further and created a double wing in both corners of each eye. I applied white to my water line to make my eyes appear bigger, and used white near my tear ducks as a highlight, but to also tie in the colours.  With such extravagant eyes i used a nude gloss for my lips. Review: MUA Luxe Velvet

Hellooo to my followers and welcome to you newbies. My sister has recently brought a new lip gloss by MUA Luxe London and i loveee the colour. It's one of those which you apply as a gloss and it dries matte. My first impression was really good! The colour is very strong and it didn't take long to dry. I decided to wear a bronze smokey eye with this gloss to keep the look sophisticated. 

Unfortunately this isn't a long lasting product. I wore it the night of my sisters birthday meal and after i ate, i went to top it up and noticed that it was peeling off. I expected some would come off after my dinner but the problem was when i applied more. It becomes quite sticky, and peels off what is still remaining on your lips. This caused it to go quite bitty and i had to wipe the whole thing off. 

Over all i think it's a good product if you're willing to wipe it all off and redo it every time you need to top up.

How would your friends describe you?

I suppose that depends on which friends. My closest would probably call me bit of a weirdo with a caring heart. I don't really come out of my shell around people i'm not so close with. I tend to just show my mature side, unless I've had a few drinks and got myself a bit tipsy, then my weirdo side comes out.

Why did you start your blog?

Over time I've had a lot of compliments on how i apply my makeup and style myself. People are often shocked when they ask where my outfit is from and i say it's all from Primark. If you have a good eye for fashion, then you can style many clothes from Primark, and look like you shop more high end. I found myself watching youtube tutorials and looking at beauty and fashion blogs, when i thought to myself i should just start my own. I have yet to start a youtube channel as i'm a bit of a perfectionist and i'm always finding reasons why i'm not ready. I treat my blog as a diary of my makeup and style to inspire others.

What is your favourite word?

Simplicity.

Where do you want to travel to most?

I would love to travel the USA and Thailand.

Where do you get inspiration from for your blog? 

I found this question quite hard to answer as i'll mainly just sleep on an idea and do it the next day. So the answer would probably be, i get my inspiration from my day dreams.

Light Nude Cut Crease

Cut crease is perfect to create a dramatic look. On this occasion i have chosen to do a light cut crease.
I have stuck to using nudes and used a light brown for my crease. The good thing about this technique is pretty much any colour would work as long as its nice and pigmented.

This sort of look could match any lip colour, i have chosen a light brown to tie in my colour palette.

Warm Orange

So i have FINALLY got round to creating a new blog post. I'm becoming extremley bored of this cold weather and really can't wait for a bit of sunshine. The makeup look i have created is very warm with oranges and bronzed skin.

This look is false lash free, i personally don't like to upload makeup looks without falsies because I don't feel it gives the same impression. I wanted it to be a wearable day to day look, but with lashes, it can turn into a more glam look. There are of course lashes that are natural looking but i didn't find it very necessary as mine aren't toooo bad. Using the white liner pencil on my water line made my eyes appear larger and look more awake.
